I was honored to be interviewed by Marianne, a leading French journal, to share my perspective as a French Family Medicine Consultant practicing in Dubai.
During this interview, I discussed why an increasing number of French physicians are considering practicing abroad, not out of rejection, but out of thoughtful reflection on how medicine is practiced and valued today.
We addressed the questions raised by the proposed Garot law, particularly around freedom of practice and the recognition of healthcare professionals. These debates are essential, and listening to physicians who choose a different path is an important part of the conversation.
