About me
I am Dr. Michael Roger, a Family Medicine Consultant trained at the University of Paris, with additional specialization in Sports Medicine. I currently practice in Dubai with an active DHA license, after several years of clinical experience in France and the United Arab Emirates.
I began my career in France, where I practiced family medicine in both hospital and private practice settings. This foundation allowed me to develop strong clinical reasoning, continuity of care, and a comprehensive approach to managing patients across all ages and medical conditions.
After relocating to Dubai, I continued my clinical practice in a multicultural healthcare environment and spent two years serving as Head of the Family Medicine Department in a hospital in Dubai, where I led multidisciplinary teams, implemented clinical protocols, and contributed to service development while maintaining active patient care.
My medical practice is built around a patient-centered, comprehensive, and personalized approach. I provide care for acute illnesses, chronic disease management, and preventive health needs, always considering the patient as a whole rather than focusing solely on symptoms.
I have a particular interest in lifestyle medicine, preventive care, clinical nutrition, metabolic health, and sports medicine, supporting both everyday patients and physically active individuals in optimizing their health, performance, and long-term well-being.
My background includes experience in hospital medicine, outpatient care, private practice, emergency and urgent care, telemedicine, and multidisciplinary collaboration. This allows me to deliver coordinated, evidence-based, and ethical care, adapted to each patient’s medical, personal, and cultural context.
Consultations are available in English and French, and I place great importance on clear communication, trust, and patient education, empowering patients to actively participate in their healthcare decisions.
